Help Operation Once in a Lifetime make a dream come true for a military family who just received news that every parent fears.
My son Camden is a 6 year old boy who loves his 2 brothers, sister, mom, dad and all his family very much. He is a typical boy that loves playing video games. He is outgoing, talkative and very sweet! I am an Army veteran and his father is still actively serving in the U.S. Army. We are very proud to be a military family!
Camden experienced weakness in his legs and problems climbing stairs not long ago and we knew something wasn’t right. After a few trips to his pediatrician and a visit with a specialist, our worst fear was confirmed. He was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is so devastating to Camden. DMD is a debilitating disorder that causes progressive loss of muscular function and weakness that begins in the skeletal muscles. There is currently no cure or treatments for the symptoms of the DMD, which can include paralysis, respiratory issues and heart failure. It is life threatening condition.
Camden has a wish and that wish is to have a family vacation on the beach, is there anyway Operation Once in a Lifetime can help make this dream come true?

Come join Operation Once in a Lifetime, Kellie Rasberry and Big Al Mack July 5th as we help stuff a box truck full of new twin size sheets, pillows, pillow cases and blankets for our returning troops, all while enjoying karaoke, drinks and food at Big Al’s bar (McKinney Avenue Tavern 2822 McKinney Ave, Dallas Texas 75204).
For every new twin size sheet set and pillow you donate for the troops you will be entered into a raffle to win 2 round trip tickets anywhere Southwest Airlines flies. You can also purchase additional raffle tickets at the event for $10.00 each.
The box truck will be onsite July 4th so you can start stuffing the truck on your way home from work. We will also be giving away thousands of dollars in door prizes from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm.

Richard Rawlings from Gas Monkey Garage and Fast & Loud, Killie Rasberry from Kidd Kraddick in the Morning and Sean and Catherine Lowe from The Bachelor team up with Operation Once in a Lifetime to create a truly once in a lifetime experience for a group of Wounded Warriors, Veterans and Special Forces soldiers at George Strait’s last concert ever at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas.
One of the military heroes that got to attend this once in a lifetime experience was SGM Munter who said he has missed almost every milestone his son Andrew has had in his life while serving his country. SGM Munter’s son is a huge George Strait fan and when he found out that he would be performing in Denver, which was near Fort Carson, he wanted to take his son, but he got he got home too late from Afghanistan and tickets were sold out. However, thanks to OOIAL we were able to create a milestone for SGM Munter’s son by flying them both from Colorado Springs to Dallas to watch Strait’s final concert. We would like to thank Odessa Pumps for their support in helping make SGM Munter’s dream come true by allowing him to see his son’s dream come true.
