Where Does Your Money Go?

Operation Once in a Lifetime is now a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization created to help the men and women of the U.S. Armed forces; instituted and operated by former U.S. soldiers. Created to give back to those who give so much and receive so little. Our initial intent was to take soldiers to organized events, such as professional sporting events, and provide an all inclusive getaway for soldiers and their family members. Now, we not only took soldiers to sporting events, but provided transportation to and from the venues, provided free meals, tickets, souvenirs, and lodging for soldiers and their families. This affords a military personnel a financially stress-free getaway. However as we expand so have our idea's.

As former soldiers, we know, that finances are our biggest concerns while serving our country. Hence, we have expanded our aspirations to other activities and endeavors that decrease the stress that comes along with being a soldier. Our goal is to give soldiers an outlet when they need help, especially when all other options have failed. Many organizations that help soldiers have limitations; we want to be limitless. We have therefore adopted a new slogan, "All Soldiers Have Different Needs".

In the past couple months we have received requests from soldiers who need furniture, help in repairing their cars, help in flying a dad home to visit his young daughter in the hospital, help paying an overdue electric bill, late fees on their rent, and more. We understand that there are thousands of Americans that have financial difficulty and live paycheck- to- paycheck and struggle everyday, but the average American does not go through the severe everyday events like a soldier. A good day is when a you do not get shot at, a better day is when you can talk to your family, and the best day is when you are home with your family.

Rest assured, that we are not just a war time organization. We are going to help soldiers for as long as possible and as long as finances permit.
Our soldiers go though many difficulties and need help, even if they are only training for war or returning from war. Being a soldier is not an easy job and a soldier does not do it for the money, he does it for his/her country.

Although we have done much in the past five months for our soldiers, we still need your help to make this program work. All donations go 100% directly to benefiting a soldier. Your donation is greatfully appreciated and truly help those who deserve it most, just ask some of the 1200 soldiers we have helped since March of 2007.
